Sam and I went to Disneyland with our friends/neighbors Erin and Marley. Sam LOVED it. It sort of blew his mind because he had no idea what Disneyland was, and I didn't talk about the trip with him until we were leaving. He hadn't really seen any movies before going, so it was all new. His favorite ride by far was Buzz Lightyear because he liked shooting the laser gun. We went on it 5 times. He also loved The Little Mermaid ride and Toy Story. One highlight of the trip for both of us was the character breakfast. You have to make a reservation beforehand, and it's a bit expensive for breakfast, but definitely worth every penny. The buffet food really was delicious, and all the different characters stop by every table and take time to talk to and get pics with every kid. Sam LOVED it, and I loved seeing him so happy. All around it was such a great trip, and I think I've even talked Mike into going back with us when Charlie is old enough!
Easter:
We played in the basement where Charlie ended up in a giant box while Sam threw foam things on top of him, which they both loved. Charlie is almost 1 and starting to get the hang of walking, just not quite there yet.

We sold the catermeran, racing sailboat and a got a new, family friendly sailboat. Who knew the 30 year old caterman would have caused such a bidding war on KSL. It was actually kind of stressful to sell the old boat. We ended up selling it to a guy who didn't really know what he was doing, and he crashed into a bigger, nicer boat on Bear Lake the day after he took it from our house. Total bummer for him. We're pretty sure he actually sold it to one of the other guys who wanted it for more than he bought for. Bummer for us. Either way we are excited to start sailing the new boat with the kids!
