This was also Mike's first post-pregnancy race, and of course he took 5th place overall with a time of 23 minutes while pushing Sam in the stroller with two untied shoe laces. Why are some people just always in shape, it's not fair!
My dad and brothers did well too. Max took 4th place overall, and Glen took 11th. My Dad took first place in his age group (even if he was the only one!!) with a 5k personal record time for him of 31 minutes.
Sam took first place in the 3 month old division, and he did it all while sleeping!
Here are the pics. Thanks to Lauren for being the photographer!

That's awesome! Good for you. I am in need of some running advice and you seem to be a good one to ask :)
I've been running and I started to get shin splints (which I haven't had since high school track!) so I iced it, stretched a lot, took ib profin and took a month off. I started running again this last week and it came right back on one leg. I can barely walk it hurts so bad! What should I do?? Any advice??
How cool are you guys?
Someone has to be Cheerleader/photographer/watergirl and I take great pride in it! haha!
I love the pictures of Mike and Sam. By the way he looks at Sam I can tell that he gets it. Nothing like the love we have for our babies.
Katy- You are so RAD! Way to go! I signed up to run a 10K at the end of May and I'm getting nervous- what are the in's and out's for training to run something like that? Should I be running 10K every time I go running or is there some kind of trick to it?
Way to go cute family! Love your little guy...what a cutie pie!
Way to go Mike, Katy and Sam! Really that is pretty impressive all around. Katy I hope you get in to Spudman so you can kick my bootie.
